Christmas was great. Cameron got a lot of things from Santa. I am not sure what Santa was thinking when he brought all the legos, at least Dad had fun putting them together all day. We were able to spend some great time with Doug's family and then my parents came into town for a little bit. They basically made a stop here on their way to Tucson to visit family.
Back to Cameron...He received a lot of nice warm clothes and lots of toys. Doug and I got some much needed gift cards to help us buy warm winter clothing, since we don't have any because we live in Arizona right now. Doug and I really enjoyed the time going to Kmart and Khols to spend some of our gift cards. We were also able to go do this with out Cameron and it was so nice.
Doug and I put all of our Christmas decorations away very quickly the day after Christmas and it was so nice to get everything cleaned up. We are currently working on packing a few things that we will be taking in our cars. Doug is back to work now and will work in the office all week. It is going to be tough to get things done while Cameron is home. Cameron goes back to school on Monday for a week and then we will be moving. It is amazing how fast things are flying.
We will continue to update this as we travel to our new house. I can't wait to get there.

Christmas
Christmas is coming so quickly and it makes us realize that it is almost time to move. Cameron is so excited for Santa and he is hoping to get a lot for Christmas. We will see how it goes. I know that Doug and I are so very excited about this move because it is going to be a good change. Neither of us are ready for moving in the middle of winter, but what are you going to do.
I hope that you will continue to watch as we travel across the country to our new home. We hope you enjoy hearing about our travels.

Our Ohio Move
Things are going pretty good for our move. Doug and I went to Columbus from the 10th to the 13th and our goal was to find a house. We found a rental house and we are so excited. I will make sure that we send our new address to everyone as soon as we can. We are getting excited about this move now that things are starting to fall into place.
I can't believe how much there is still left to do. We are blessed with having the company pay for the move. They are hiring a moving company to pack our stuff and then move it. We are happy about that. Cameron is doing well with all of this so far. He knows that we are moving and that we will have a new house and he will have a new school. His class is going to be sad, I know his teacher is, but Cameron is very ready. It is cute to see his reaction when he sees the pictures of the house.
Look for our next post, we will update as things continue to happen.

Cameron's First Winter Performance
Tonight was Cameron's first Winter Performance. He did so well and he was so cute with his singing and dancing. Doug had to work tonight so he was not able to go, but I got some good footage for him so he was able to enjoy it when we got home. Cameron was so excited to share all of his songs with his dad and Doug loved listening to them all. Cameron even did the hand motions and all the dancing. I was so proud of my son for being such a little performer. Who knows what his future will hold now?
We are still working hard during the day to get ready for our move and there is a lot of work to do. I am so excited about this move as we get more of the pieces put together. Keep us in your prayers and we get all the pieces to fall into place where and when they are suppose to.

First posting
Hey everyone,
I thought I would start a blog for our family since there is so much going on lately. Doug has been told for several years that they will be laying him off at his company, however recently a job opened and Doug applied for it. This job is still with his same team, but it would mean a move to Columbus, Ohio. Doug was recently offered the position and accepted the offer right before Thanksgiving.
We are now going to be moving to Columbus, Ohio and we are excited about the move. We will miss all our friends and family but we think this will be a good thing for us.
I am working my lia sophia business and I am will be looking for a teaching job when we get out to Ohio. I have enjoyed being at home with Cameron during these last several months while he gets going with his kindergarten.
Cameron has been super busy. He started kindergarten in August and has made so many new friends. He is excited about moving to where there is snow (since that is all he understands). Cameron is very active in learning and I look forward to watching him grow.
I will keep everyone updated with our blog as often as I can. I felt this might help with all the changes going on for us lately. Look forward to letting you know where the next steps in life take us.
